I have never seen a boxer change his story more than Canelo. First he makes up his own weight classes and says he's not a full grown middleweight. Then he eats "tainted beef". Next he says "belts don't matter" when he is trying to age out GGG. Now he wants to be a 3 division belt holder. All within 3 years or so. I hope Kovalev murders this dude

This article is totally misleading. Take the following:

Actually neither Canelo nor Reynoso made any reference at all to Henry Armstrong or to holding 3 titles simultaneously. That was pieced to together after the fact by journalists like the author of this article. What he did say is something to the effect of "Quiero hacer me propia historia." This can be translated to: I want to make my own story or my own history. I wish boxing would attract better writers. Some of these poor suckers are only a few kilowatts above organic at best.

That said, the 168 lb belt is a secondary belt and cannot in any meaningful way be passed off as a real championship belt for that weight class.

He beat GGG, beat Jacobs, fought Rocky for a WBA regular title which I did not hear any of you *****ing at Manny P. for having a reg WBA belt!
Andrade will get his turn in the future and Canelo did not lose the WBC belt nor was he stripped! He was raised to a higher status.

Most of these people crying about the wba regular title are the same imbeciles that give ggg credit for his mw title defense “record” when ggg defended that same regular title like 10+ times to even tie the record.
