The truth is Canelo does not fancy standing in the pocket for 12 rounds taking stiff jabs and huge right hands like he did in the rematch. That fight was very tough for him, that huge counter right hand he took from GGG in round 10 rocked him to his boots and instantly buzzed him. His nose was leaking, his eye had a bad cut which required plastic surgery afterwards he knows another fight like that will either shorten his career of hand him his second defeat as a professional.
good post man...this is basically how I feel about the 3rd fight as well...Canelo knows how much that 2nd fight took out of him...I don't know if he can get up for that level again...he had his pride on the line after the first fight performance/PED situation/and taunting from GGG about actually standing there and fighting.

It is hard to fake getting up for that level...there is a saying I like - 'you can't fake desperate'...and I don't think that Canelo can necessarily find the motivation to get up for the 3rd fight like he did for the 2nd...I think that was a very draining experience for him, and it will be hard to 'fake' getting as motivated for fight 3 as he was for fight 2.

      What an amazing champion!
Man Álvarez is also pretty much a Cruiserweight who makes LHW? If you think he suks then I don’t know why to say??? U clearly don’t watch boxing

That's the question mark for me...if GGG works behind the jab he is very very hard to beat...if he tries to reinvent the wheel right now...well it could improve him, but it could regress him as well.

But...you should always try to improve I suppose...should be a good fight anyway.

The Rolls fight was a terrible mismatch. No way around that. I don't know if this is the right time but it's the only time. Time is running out on Golovkin. Im curious to see how his reflexes are against a good fighter and if his stamina is still there.

According to a couple stories that you appear to want to believe are accurate...we should keep it a little more real on here and unbiased my friend...no real way to say if Andrade-Charlo fights were ever really makeable or if they even really wanted those fights with GGG.

Hopefully they all mix it up soon though and we see some good fights...would prefer to see GGG move up to 168 for Smith after this, but there are other good fights at 160 and 168 as well

If he fought Charlo, he ducked Andrade and SD. If he fought Andrade, he ducked SD and Charlo. He’s fighting SD, so he ducked Andrade and Charlo.

Did Canelo fight any of them? No he vacated his WBC instead of fighting Charlo and he vacated the IBF instead of fighting SD.

              This thread is hilarious.
This is why I would prefer him go to 168 after this fight...if he fights any one of those guys at 160, and wins, people will just say that guy sucks and he really avoided _insertnamehere_...would rather see him go up to 168 and face Smith..would be a good fight imo and win or lose he should get the credit he deserves there...some people just don't really keep it that real about GGG unfortunately...so takes away from seeing some of those fights in my view.

I also think GGG vs. Murata in Japan would be a GREAT Career move??? Dude has a cult following in Japan.
DAZN would probably want him in Japan because of Murata and like you say, his huge fanbase.

My problem is he never confirmed that he had signed before until now... before, he was crying about not wanting the fight to be in Vegas. So if he actually did sign back then, why the crying about it being in Vegas? But I think it’s BS, throughout these two fighters negotiations history, in fight 1 and especially in fight 2... ggg had been a ******** diva that has complained and demanded damn near everything you can think of from weight, to judges, to gloves, to refs, to national anthems and gloves for phuck sake! You’d think he the A side with all his ******** bi.tching whining and moaning... now for the third he said he would fight canelo but it’d have to be somewhere other than Vegas... I swear he is a whiny bit.ch... Beggars can’t be choosers but ggg thinks can do both... if he signed before good for him it’s just why say it now and why cry about Vegas if you had signed anyway? What’s the point?

He ducked Charlo before he signed to DAZN! He signs with DAZN, and swerves Andrade! Canelo's resume speaks for itself, and now he's fighting a LHW Champion! GGG is not on Canelo's level!
