      I guess this guys is done as a serious fighter. He has already missed his peak due to injuries and now this.

      At least he’s made good money. If I was him, Id take one more big fight and cash out.

      He kind of reminds me of Quillin. They both missed the boats.

        I call him Keith “vacation time” Thurman for a reason. But this is a short “vacation” for him and actually works out best for him. Once the landscape clears with Porter/Spence & then the winner of Porter/Spence possibly facing Manny, Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia may be a viable opponents remaining at welterweight for title defenses for Manny, Spence, or Porter if no one wants to fight Crawford. Thurman is still a young fighter with only 1 loss on his resume and that loss to a HOF legend. Mid 2020 is around June or July so Keith is missing like 1 or 2 potential fights at best between now and then.
