They should just have a regular champ and an interim if it comes down to it..but they chose this route when they had the perfect opportunity to have just one champ.
You are just spreading lies here...

The WBA champ was George Groves and Callum Smith knocked him out to become the WBA champion. Fielding has never ever been the full champion. We all know this except you apparently.

GGG fans and Pacquiao fans you don't want to debate this
Everyone should be held to the same standards.

Pacquiao isnt an actual 8 division champ, because he didnt hold one of the ABC-belts in 2 of those divisions,
but he has a more legitimate claim, because he had the RING and lineal title in those divisions, which more often than not are more difficult to acquire than a random (vacant) ABC belt.

GGG's title run as the regular champion shouldnt count towards his title run as long as a superchampion existed in that division. It was unfair that Sturm avoided him for, but life sucks sometimes.

Canelos title at 168 isnt a proper title, because it was only a regular title and Groves was the super champ at that time.

That record or not means **** to me. Specially when back at the time all the fighters used to do this: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...al-gennady-gol

Yep, the 168 title was a regular title. Smith was the champ.

They said Manny wasn't a real champ at 147 when he won the Regular WBA belt. Now, they say Crawford isn't recognized as a real champion since PBC does not recognize the WBO.

So not only has the alphabet soup of titles watered down the value of a belt, it is a moving target that we redefine based on who we like as champions and who we don't.
