From what I understand, GGG and Kovalev are friends. And there's stories about GGG getting the best of Kovalev in sparring. At this stage Kovalev has more wear and tear on his body even though he's a year younger than G.

Having a KO ratio of 50% at 160 isn't the same as having one at 175. I'd say guys generally lose like 10-20% off their KO ratio for each division they move up.

Sanchez said GGG is better boxer and a harder puncher than Kovalev and kicked his ass in sparring. I know you just loved hearing that. Haters gonna hate and there is no bigger hater than you.

He isn't fighting a welterweight this time and didn't ggg give up the exact same world title not to fight the exact same fighter? Canelo is passing on Derv to fight Kovalev at Kovalevs weight (175) and ggg passed on Derv to fight Vanes at 160 (a career 154 fighter who never accomplished much there let alone at 160).
