Well it's streaming vs streaming so idk if the numbers would be affected by more than 100,000 though I would've put one of the fights on another week. Honestly Nate Diaz is well known in the fight community as well as Hispanic especially after the 2 fights with McGregor. Canelo better have a stacked undercard for I think most casual fans are gonna go with the UFC 244 that night. But dazn gonna do ok with subscription for Ruiz AJ 2 happens in December and that should drive up subscriptions until we finally see canelo ggg 3

Dana I will be watching the Canelito fight for 20. I like UFC but I usually dont watch it live. I'm still like on UFC 210 or something like that unless that was one of the ones that was canceled.

Funny thing about this is.... it really doesn't matter does it. Both shows are carried on streaming services, so those who watch both boxing and mma will watch one live and the other later. Those who lean boxing will watch Canelo live, and vice versa. There's not very much overlap between the fan bases, so if either feels it on the live views, it wont be by much. The real measure is how many new subscriptions will come as a result of either event. My money is Canelo will bank more new subscribers that night than MMA.

It's about Venue availability. It seems the larger popular venues are also occupied by other sports during there season and usually on thise same days. I'm sure anyone involved with the boxing don't really care about ufc244

Why does UFC count its shows. If boxing did it, the fights would be Boxing 12,899.

I always thought its weird how they call it UFC 123 instead of the headliners kind of disrespectful to their fighters

I watch both UFC and boxing. I think Dana dont want to pay his fighters shjt so he's going head to head with that ppv. So when his ppv doesnt do as good he can blame the fighters and say i told you so. Feel bad for Diaz/Masvidal cuz they deserve that $$$ imo.
