Jonathan Banks rocks Castillo

David Tua's body punching impressed me last night. he doesnt have anything going in terms of footwork, but he works those bodyshots well and that left to the body that finished Gutierrez was impressive

so why aint anyone callin banks glass jawed like they were/are to green/ward

cause eliseo castillo is a top-15 cruiserweight, alot more than you can say about the guys that dropped green/ward

banks took castillos best shot, actually 2 of them, a perfect left right with banks fallin in. his legs were never gone and he never looked out of it despite those things.

also, green looked like he was dead when he got hit, his legs went when the first shot hit him and if he were the underdog the fight may have been stopped.

people should be talking about banks devastating power, he only needed a handful on punches to break castillo down and knocked him damn near unconscious at the first good opportunity,

i dont think 9 out of 10 guys get up from the first KD that banks took, much less make it 2 full minutes.

i dont expect banks to ever take another shot that clean to be perfectly honest.

he looked out of sorts and out of rhythmn from the start and walked right into the punch that dropped him, if someone posted a gif we could see just how cleanly it landed.

castillo 15 kos in 20 wins has good power at cruiser, there are only a handful of guys proven to have more, and i dont think many of them can take a shot from banks any better than vice versa.

How about the heart on that Banks kid. I actually think that was a better comeback than Corrales vs Castillo simply because the ref didn't stop this fight, Banks was getting his ass kicked got dazed got knocked down twice but come back to put Castillo down for 10 seconds, that's how you do it and I'll be watching more of this guy for sure.
