I don't believe for a second that Spence wasn't trying to KO Garcia, it simply wasn't there. Not a nit pick, a fact that every trainer on the planet would agree with.

Thats right because Spence is not a one shot guy, to stop Mikey he would have had to fight him like he did Brook, instead he boxed tight and out IQd him which is what he said prior he was going to do, saying that beforehand makes a world of difference to the truth of what went down, stopping Porter now cements that.

This fight he has stated he will stop Shawn, if that comes true and its a much harder task against Porter because of the size and strength of Porter, then thats solidifying both fights.

All fighters will go for a KO if it presents itself, there is a difference in taking it if it comes than it is making the KO happen.

When a guy says what he is going to do before the fight and does it, then it holds a lot of weight.

He almost stopped Mikey and didn’t need to take any additional risks to go for the KO because he was winning the fight easy. Mikey’s corner was close to stopping the fight. No need for any criticism. He will probably dominate Porter in the same fashion. If he doesn’t knock him out, and Porter’s daddy doesn’t stop the fight, no big deal.

Do you know anything of boxing history at all? Here I’ll make this more simplistic. Would you like for me to provide you examples of when a lighter weight fighter that is elite faced another elite fighter at a higher weight level the lighter weight fighter wasn’t knocked out? Or how about the lighter weight won and it KOd the heavier fighter?
