Nobody on the resume of Ggg/Charlo/Andrade/BJS/Any other 168 champs,or even most 175 lb champs, would be a favorite over Kovalev if they were fighting him on Nov 2.

Nobody comes even close to being as much bigger,or as much a threat to any of those fighters as Kovalev would be at this exact minute

Almost none of those fighters are fighting anyone even remotely as good as Kovalev(only Beterbiev/Gvoz) at this exact moment with his 17 consecutive title fights vs the literal best available competition at 175.(If an opponent kos a champ he instantly proves hes elite & dangerous & should thereby count as an impressive win for champ to school them every rd in the rematch) Kov has very lil mileage on him contrary to what novice writers say,he just needed a good coach he actually listened to,& what a coincidence hes basically had 2 shutout victories over much younger fighters where he outlanded them almost 2/1

High risk low reward, now more than ever with Canelo already having a novelty 168 strap, unless his interests veer to the tall order of 168 unification. You don't need to make the case to me for why Kov is a good fight.

I'm basically just making a point & used your post to do so because of everyone on here saying that Kov is in any way shape or form an easy win let alone ko just because hes been kod. Others on here are saying Saunders is somehow in any way better or scary to Nelo. Bottom line is out of everyone nelo could've fought Kovalev clearly made the most sense to try to win fighter of the decade. I can't see how anyone doesnt think Kov is the rightful favorite just off size & power/reach alone & how they can't see that Nelos taking a massive risk far greater than vs BJS & other unheralded fighters with thin or weak resume
