I knew Golovkin wasn't bout that mexican style when he fought a scrub like Vanes for Cinco de Mayo. Canelo beat him Mexican style after that and exposed him. Then he went and beat Jacobs too. Since then Golovkin hasn't stepped up and now that he finally fights Derev (after ducking for Vanes) Canelo goes and outdoes him by going after Kovalev. Golovkin would never go after Kovalev for the belt. If Canelo somehow loses and Kovalev retains I bet Golovkin stays away big time!
