you don't think 37/38 yrs old is old for an athlete? Particularly a boxer? I know it's tough for you to remember what it was like to be that age because that was 20 yrs ago for you, but fighters clearly slow down by their mid 30s. That's why almost all of the big names on canelos resume were 35 and older when canelo faced them. Mosley, mayweather, Cotto, ggg and now Kovalev. It's called selective matchmaking and being opportunistic. Even so, many believe Canelo should've held 3 Ls in those fights instead of just 1.
