Comments Thread For: Regis Prograis: I Really Cannot See How Taylor Can Beat Me

Regis Prograis wouldn't predict a knockout of Josh Taylor, let alone a round in which it'll happen. The powerful southpaw from New Orleans is completely confident, however, that he'll beat Taylor in the final of the World Boxing Super Series' 140-pound tournament. Prograis discussed his October 26 fight against the Scottish southpaw Monday during a press conference in London.

Chisora, Wallin and every other fight are just half ass side shows. This is a real fight, there I said it.

Dont like that way of thinking. Its venturing into c#ckiness & going beyond confidence. Should be having nightmares about all the ways Josh can win.

Although I guess you might not wanna talk about that with the media so maybe its not actually how hes thinking.

Eddie Hearn needs to spend the money to make noise because this is a barn burner.

That is real Supreme confidence coming out of Regis. He hasn't given me a reason thus far to believe he will not execute. I can see him hurting Taylor bad and getting a TKO late

Prograis is just supremely confident. He's unfiltered and not the most articulate and sometimes will say things that offend but it's not intentional, he's not trying to get into anyone's head. Prograis makes simple observations and speaks bluntly from the heart.

I do agree, Taylor is no joke, he's a warrior that believes in his destiny.

This is not one of the many manufactured cabby killers but a very real battle for supremacy.

This is about supremacy and all you so called fans need to step into it. This is NOT one of the many manufactured cabby killers but a very real battle for supremacy.

Of course Prograis will say he's supremely confident of winning. What else would you expect him to say?

Taylor is saying exactly the same thing, and I'm sure they are both telling the truth.

I think the tough fights Taylor had with Postol and Baranchyck will help him beat Prograis, on points or late stoppage. It's going to be a great fight!

Taylor has the better resume, but not by that much. Postol and Banranchich vs Relick and Flanagan.

50 - 50 fight. I think progrès is neglecting Taylor's power and movement, And Taylor is neglecting Progres' ability to box and move.
