Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Jesse Vargas?

What do you guys think about this matchup? Can easily happen since both are with Dazn. Great step up fight for Vergil. Who do you think will win?

Vargas gots a lil trickiness to him, but I could see him getting caught early & never getting to show it or getting a few rounds in & giving Vergil a test, but getting caught in the mid to late rounds & its goodnite mfer.

Vargas can beat him at this point

I don't think they would take that fight right now

Definitely a good scrap but jesse can pull it off. Knows a few tricks and has a good jab.

It sounds like a great fight and I pick Ortiz to win it but I am not sure he would win. Vargas is tough and game and a step up. Vargas is a good all around fighter who is proven against good opposition. Ortiz has that 100% KO record.

vargas probably a little bit too dangerous still.

Unfortunately a lot of welters are fighting under the pbc banner.
I would like him to face Ray Robinson next. He is a tricky guy with a lot of experience and it gives him the opportunity to perform better than kelly and kavaliauskas who drew with him.

Avanesyan, if he beats lejarraga again, is also a viable option.
