That was as severe of a cut possible. That's ok though because Wilder will open it back up and destroy him. He's physically unable to go 12 rounds against Wilder again, and that's the best case scenario for Fury.

There was an even more gushing cut from a long ago fight (one of my favorites)...Castro vs JD Jackson. In that fight, the ref was truly covered with Castro's blood. It made Fury's cut look like a baby pimple.
I won't spoil the outcome if you're curious.

The cut was bad, but again, it wasn't an issue. Weeks knew Otto got in a lucky shot and was lacking the talent to end it. That was as clumsy a Fury performance as I've ever seen.....even before the cut.

Everyone did the right thing by letting it go on.

As for Wilder, the rematch won't ever happen if it's up to Team Tyson.
