I favor Wilder to KO Ruiz. Wilder has such a great straight right and he seems to be improving his skills even at his old age of 33. He can KO anybody if he can land that right hand bomb a few times and his left hook is also a very hard punch. Wilder takes a punch well too. Ruiz has to charge him to get in punching range and I think at some time in the fight Ruiz runs into a straight right bomb that drops him and Wilder then finishes him. It's possible Ruiz could beat Wilder on points or by KO but I think Wilder KOing Ruiz is the most likely outcome.
Andy Ruiz will be undisputed champ. calling it now

Not a very bold call being that hes got 75% of the belts today & just needs to beat Wilder who we almost all agree is a sh^tty boxer & his KO ability wins the day. Cant always win the day so Andy is a good bet to be The Man. And I think there is the argument hes the favorite to do just that currently. I still lean Fury or Wilder will be it, but 75% of the belts is a great lean towards getting there first.
Sullivan and Corbett being Irish Americans during an era when Irish immigration was as polarizing. Boxing was considered a violent european import not fit for US society. The Irish Americans were given the lionshare of the blame, or credit, for bringing boxing to the US. It was actually the English, but they blamed the Irish.
Then we have Bob who just happens to get his title during Queen Vic's Diamond Jubilee. BE #1
Burns becomes champion the same year Canada was doing as well internationally their PM was bragging about how the 20th century would belong to Canada.
Jack Johnson just happens to be from the first generation of free born black men in America.
France got their first title shot, Italy got their first champion, and Germany got their first champion as political revolutions, mostly fascism and the response to it, took root.
Marciano just happens to be champion when Italian immigration to the States is a hot button topic.
During the civil rights movement we got Ali.
Even more recently, Ukraine leaves the USSR and like out of nowhere Ukraine has two HW champions.
I'm not saying anything dirty goes on, or doesn't, just that politics can be a good indicator as to who will come out ahead even if you know nothing about boxing.Comment

I think it'll come down to him and Wilder. I think Fury get sidelined with those cuts and AJ get knocked out into gatekeeper status after the rematch.
Would be nice to see Andy avenge that Parker loss.Comment
