Dave Reid used to be in all the time.. Floyd used to come in the room and talk constantly about boxing, his career etc... I know it was them because I talked to Floyd and Zab face to face and they verified it was them. Peetr McNeeley, who knows the game as well as any fan here, used to comeinand try and talk boxing and IGNORANT people would make fun of him, thinking it was someone just claiming to be him. I know Pete though and it was him.

You know, one of the things that has been kind of messed up in my years on the internet is that I use my own name on message boards, in email etc and every once in a while I will get a guy that takes advabntage of that and tries to dogg me on the board or in email etc. And it is true that is why most pro boxers don't go to board under their own name etc. I also appreciate you guys sticking up for me on here etc etc BUT, I have to say that I read the question and I didn't get the impression the guy was trying to start trouble or anything. I could be wrong. Let's give this guy a chance..... hhe could have came ut and really tried to dawg me bad, you know? Any pro fighter is vulnerable to insults etc because you coud take almost anybody and find something to insult about them and their boxing career. This one seemed innocent enough, though. We'll see, I guess

John Scully hasnt boxed for years, why would you make a thread about him if not to take a shot at him?

Actually I sparred eight rounds with my fighter the other day
Even though I dont fight for a living anymore I like to spar as much as I can. I am most likely the only trainer that can still spar 12 rounds.

I dont believe that the guy was looking to take shots at Scully, he was just trying to get into the mix. He saw John here and decided to talk about his career and Im sure just wanted to interact with him about his success.

In my opinion if anybody took shots at him for his career they would only be fools to do so.

John took it to the end and did quite well when you consider all of the tough mofos running around in the boxing world. The guy squared up and threw with Michael Nunn, thats some **** right there.

I take my hat off to Scully. I rode for just a little while in the pros but John took it to its end, thats straight out balls in my book. I left for my own reasons and still wonder how far I may have gotten if I rode it all the way through. Who knows what I may have done, I had some talent. John took it all the way and he knows that he did well. Again, my hats off to him!!!
