He has a chance but it's still a horrible stylistic matchup for him same for wilder.

I would still have Fury as the favorite in that fight because of his foot speed, height and reach advantage. Ruiz would have to work harder to get to Fury, unlike how Joshua stood right in the pocket and had big holes in his defense in their first fight (I'm sure Joshua is well aware NOW that he can't be irresponsible when he shoots his offensive arsenal). Fury also is very tough and he just gets more vicious when he gets tagged.

Wallin actually had good hand speed early in the fight but his hands slowed A LOT in the mid/ mid-late rounds. It was looking like he was going to be KO'd. He showed some decent intelligence and great heart to withstand the pummeling that he took. Of course, hardly anyone had heard his name before so we automatically assume he's a nobody. I don't think he's a top 5 heavyweight but he's not the bum that most people are saying he is. I would bet he would beat a guy like Breazeale. The hand speed difference between those two is night and day!

It definitely would have. Doesn't change the fact that Fury has been inconsistent his entire career.

No chance. Fury is the most focused when he fights top competition.

Never thought Andy had NO CHANCE thats fanboy & hater takes on a fight. But yea I still think this is a nightmare fight for Andy. Fury is a big mfer who moves well & unlike AJ can fight inside. This is a troublesome fight for Andy.

Believe I thought this was a 80/20, 70/30 Fury fight before & I tend to think its still in that range.

I agree with everything you said. Every fighter at that level has a chance and Ruiz has some very fast hands that could catch anyone in an exchange, so he can't be written off with any opponent. But, yes, Fury still has many big advantages over Ruiz. It would be an uphill struggle for the slow footed, much shorter Ruiz. Fury really knows how to negate his opponents , especially slow and short opponents. I would predict that Andy would be very frustrated in that fight.

Wallin is 6'6 ,Ruiz is a 6'1 heavy footed guy trying to hit a 6'9 fleet footed one ,come'on ?Barring another cut which is unlikely ,Ruiz stands little chance against Fury Ha

Over reaction much? Top fighters are at there best when they fight the other top fighters. Ruiz was great against Joshua, but not that long before labored to a 97-93 win over Kevin Johnson, who has barely won a fight in about 6 years.
