Did the Gervonta Davis beating ruin Pedraza?

Or was Pedraza just never really that good?

    He was never that good.

Remember, he was brought in to be a victim for Beltran (who isn’t very good) but upset him to get the Lomachenko shot.

He was then praised for the Lomachenko fight because he lost almost every round instead of getting knocked cold.

Was Beltran expected to win their fight but then it didn't pan out that way?

He is one of those guys who just seems to be missing that extra gear. Good fighter and you can see the potential in him, but it just seems to never come completely together.

No he had the best performance of his career just before he fought Lomachenko.

He isn't ruined. Zepeda is a very underrated fighter. I had him beating Jose Ramirez and he didn't come close to what Lomachenko and Davis did to him. Also a ****** gameplan to try and walk Zepeda down imo. Pedraza is good, just not great. I won some nice money because of this fight. But I was surprised that Zepeda couldn't hurt Pedraza at 140 like Loma did at 135 and Davis did at 130. He isn't done imo. Just bad matchmaking

He just wasn't ever that good, and Tank is the only one to truly expose that.

People argue that he lost the fight in which he won the title at 130, and then Tank went and pretty much destroyed him. At 135, I mean Beltran isn't very skilled and Pedraza was good enough to beat him on that night, very overrated victory.

Tank is a beast, he's just being moved slowly is all. No one has or will do to Pedraza what Tank did to him, Tank is a monster.

On a side note, I think Zepeda beat Ramirez, so Pedraza was in tough last night for sure.

Zepeda is quite underrated. I expected him to win, the thing is whenever fighters like Pedraza steps up they lose, if you are meant to be a boxer with potential and couldn’t beat him then you know we would be able to gauge your level/career.

Yes. Beltran was supposed to be in line to fight Lomachenko for a unification. The fight was in Beltran’s adopted home state and was probably only made because it was a Mexico-Puerto Rico fight that Arum thought Beltran would win easily.

I predicted Zepeda would win also. He is one of those guys who will give everyone a fight they don't like. He throws when they do and makes them hesitant.
