Why is Top Rank having problems paying Bud Crawford?

Top Rank announced the rest of their schedule yesterday and the one big name missing was Crawford.
Evidently it's a money issue. But why do they have to discuss money if Crawford already has a guaranteed amount per fight?

Terence Crawford told me earlier he had his initial meeting with Top Rank & ESPN today about his next fight. He expects to face mandatory challenger Egidijus Kavaliauskas on 12/14 at MSG, but said that they haven't talked money yet.

Well when you're paying Tyson Fury allegedly $12-15 Million to fight guys like Schwarz and now Wallin I mean WTF! He is taking a large chunk of the budget I'm sure. Also could be why Ramirez and Loma was allowed to go make Money that Arum clearly wasn't going to pay them with Eddie Hearn.

They probably was hoping that Eddie Hearn would throw around some big money for Crawford to go fight Brook as well so that ESPN can reserve their own Budget It is kinda smart on Arum's part to let Eddie and DAZN pay for everything for the Ramirez and the Loma fights while getting them Career High Paydays
