Does anyone publicly lose negotiations like GPB?

GBP originally offered Kovalev $4 million to fight Canelo. He’s getting $12 million now.

They offered SD a take it or leave it offer of $5.5 million to fight Canelo. He left it and got the same offer to fight GGG.

GBP originally offered Jacobs an 80-20 split and he said no. He ended up getting about 30%.

GGG got 45% of the purse for the second Canelo fight after only getting 30% the first time. This happened after he told GBP no and was going to fight Saunders instead.

Chavez was originally offered a $5 million flat but ended up getting $6 million and a cut of the PPV.

Negotiations for the Cotto-Alvarez were originally called off over a dispute over a purse split. When the fight did happen, Cotto got the standard 75% defending champions demand.

That's why boxing is fckd. No one wants to fight unless they get paid truckloads of money. Fans are the losers.

Mayweather's opponents got an average of $1-2 mil, and this is the so-called PPV queen we're talking about. This idiotic poster is still not satisfied with Derev, a virtual nobody to casuals, getting offered $5 mil.

Big, meaningful fights will be very hard to come by now. Who is going to invest and get their money back now? Certainly not this dumb poster.
