I will close my eyes and throw darts at pictures of fighters. It will take me a couple rounds of darts to hit a guy he could beat in a competetiv field. the guy is out their and he is prob 2-0 with two kos and would woop jones. He is done its been years since he has won a fight and has been brutally koed in his last two. He has only gotin older and has not been in the ring to sharpen his timeing.

His two problems were his amount of punches and his mental status.
He isn't that great now and his chins seems weak, but if he comes in good condition I believe he could make a few more good fights. In fact I'm hoping he's cleaning out the light heavyweight division.

he's 37 man...this is a fighter who relies on speed and reflexes, it's over.

they didnt have him back because he wouldnt turn up three days early to prepare. He turned up on the day of the fight and that was it. So they sacked him.

If he carries on I see his future in a care home with the G-Man wiping away his dribble.

hes gotta change the way he fights he did a lot of things wrong all of the time in his prime but he was so fast he got away with all of it... he simply beats u to the punch. His foot speed has diminished a lot but his hand speed is still there. If he changes his style he definetely could win because he still has the body to be good but only if he becomes a good technical boxer.

Roy Jones Jr. was so much...and probably could have been so much more. What we saw in him was raw athletic ability. His speed and reflexes, and pure physical presence were dominating factors that caused him to swarm his opponents like a gang of angry hornets. He would fire his fists like bullets- like a machine gun as opposed to a sniper rifle- and murder in bunches. Two things have sealed Roy's coffin, though. One- plain and simple- age. He can't do what he once did anymore. Bernard Hopkins, as he got older, could rely on his technical ability, for example. Jones never had that sound ability to carry him..he had youth and strength. So much of it people were left on their backs. Now that he's older, though, he just can't fight like that; and that was Roy Jones, Jr. Secondly, I don't think his mind is in the same place it once was. He used to rap about what a monster he was in the ring, skip press conferences- everything that showed what disregard he had for everyone but himself- he did it. He knew he was a bad ass. Unfortunatley for Roy, I think he also knows now he isn't. It took balls to fight the way he did...and I think that's another strike against him. Even if the physical isn't all gone...the mental gusto to go towards his man like he once did...it dried up and blew away a long time ago.
