i actually would like LACY to fight TARVER for one main reason. I loved HOPKINS when he fought, and i want his legacy to mean a bit more then it does right now. Now that he is retired, he can't do much about it. But If TARVER can destroy LACY, it'll make HOPKINS's win over TARVER look a lot better.

Just like when TAYLOR beat HOPKINS 2x, and then we watched HOPKINS destroy TARVER, it made TAYLOR's wins over HOPKINS look twice as good. u know what i mean?

It's apparent that Lacy stepped up in class too soon. I'm surprised Green's people are willing to possible repeat that by putting him against Left Hook already.

Lacy should take on a guy barely ranked in the Top 15 in the division he wants a title shot and win by blowout on Showtime, keep training and improving, then maybe take another tune-up before taking on the top of the division.

Lacy would be lucky to get 35% of the purse. Tarver is the name fighter who actually has some big wins. Lacy has no big wins and nobody knows who he is outside of the sport.

I think he ment that it would be a step down to fight green. I think he is better than that as he has had a belt and defended it many times. Why would he ever consider green who has only a list of journymen and a couple prospect in almost as many fights as lacy. I sure lacy when he heard it wa like what the **** is this bull****. This is not to say it would not be a very good fight but I totaly understand lacy green is not going to bring any money to the table, where lacy is a former champ and still is a world class fighter.
