If Wilder does the impossible and Pacquiaos Fury, where do you rank him all time? Is he ATG status?

I think we can all agree that with Fury being the boxer and Wilder being the brawler, the chances statistically of Wilder KOing him are low, so if he pulls it off, where does it propel him?

Nope. He’s only fought Ortiz and Fury.

He's already an ATG. After he knocks out Fury, he becomes the GOAT.

Yeah he’ll be better than Joe Louis if he beats Fury for sure.

On his way to something special still.

Seal the division (Ruiz-Joshua winner will likely have the two mandatories before any unification), and clean out the current crop (Yoka, DuBois, Joyce, Hunter, Kownacki, etc).

Regardless of what you think of his style, he does that and his ticket is stamped; then you'd have to rank him against history.

Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Lennox Lewis, Larry Holmes, Vitali Klitschko, and that's still leaving out a ton of folks.

You don`t become ATG by beating 2 good guys.

Will Fury be ATG if he outboxes Wilder?

Fury isn't, and won't ever be, an ATG so the answer is clearly ''hell no''

Once he KOs Fury he still has to beat the other top HW Mr Ruiz jr then he will be in the mix

LOL, no. Like it or not, AJ has the best resume at HW (despite the loss) and if he beats Ruiz in the rematch....

People throw this around with Fury as well - Wilder needs to beat Fury, AJ, Ruiz, Whyte, Miller etc and so does Fury and even then that isn't ATG status. Try doing all of that and beating another string of top contenders and the new gen and reign at the top for at least a few years.

ATG status doesn't mean shyt any more. Fury for instance has beaten Klitschko and had a draw with Wilder = ATG doe.
