"The Mexican Andy Ruiz, world heavyweight champion, visited the Topo Chico prison in Monterrey, Nuevo León, where he witnessed an amateur boxing tournament and sent messages of hope to the inmates.
"I've been in bad times and I changed. No one believed in me because I was chubby, but I hit hard, I had the dream of being a world champion and I made it, so you can," said the fighter during his visit that coincided with his 30th birthday .

"I am very happy to be here with you and talk a little about my life and what happened. I changed believing in myself, nobody believed in me, nobody thought I was going to win, but no, I hit hard and I had that dream of being the First Mexican world champion (in the heavyweight) and thank God we achieved that, "he added"

I like it. Cool move by Andy. Most mfers wouldnt come to a prison like this right after winning the HW title. They'd be doing their victory lap in nicer places exclusively.
