Listen....Mikey took THE biggest L. He campaigned for the Spence fight that nobody believed he would win anyway, and went out there and stunk up the joint.

Broner on the other hand, actually gained my respect in the Maidana loss. Why? He actually fought back and showed what he was made of.

Any lesser man would've packed it in against Maidana that night and we've seen it in the past.

    Mikey took the L.

Why isn't Broner vs. Mikey a candidate? I felt that was worse than Broner/Maidana, because at least with Broner/Mikey, that was at Broner's GOOD weight. Broner/Maidana was 147 wasn't it? He's never been good at that weight.

Is this a joke? Obviously Mikey...

Broner lost to an inferior fighter, but it was more of a humbling experience and he fought his way back after a bad start.

Mikey Garcia can't take ANY positives from his fight with Spence. He was shut out 12-0. Absorbed over 300+ punches and he gave up. After the 4th round he went into survival mode and didn't look to fight back. He was content to not get finished.

Broner because he was supposed to win and win big.

We don't know yet w/ Mikey because his story's not over yet. I think it's safe to say Broner's is and it began with the Maidana fight. The stanky leg knockdowns / memes, ***** talking prior to the fight didn't help him when Maidana beat his ass. Since then, what has Broner done? If Mikey fights Pacquiao and beats him, even this Pacquiao, he'll land bigger fights (what weight class, not sure).

Everyone knew Mikey was going to lose. He did it because they paid him big.
Broner was supposed to walk through Maidana.

Broner. Wasn't Maidana the underdog? Just about everyone with the exception of the most hardcore Mikey fan knew he was going to lose. I think even Mikey knew it.

The concession that will always be there for Mikey though is he went up 2 weight classes and in his 1st fight fought the most avoided dude at the weight. Sure, he got outboxed but his stock didn't really plummet where nobody wants to see him in other fights around 135-140 let alone still being a fav in most. People tend to forget the hype behind Broner during that time which made his loss the laughing stock of the General Sports World in the States. He's still gotten fights since then but was never taken seriously again as it concerns his "Elite" status (which IMO he never genuinely had).
