With the info we have learned & continue to learn with CTE being a reality now should fights be stopped once someone, be it the corner, the ref or the boxer himself, realize a boxer has had a concussion?
Should a fight continue once a fighter is deemed to likely have been concussed?

ehhhhh ****...I don't know. The sport is punching in the head. How do they gauge if a guy is concussed? Waive it off whenever someone is knocked down? wobbled? I mentioned that Joshua was lucky the ref didn't waive it off at the end of the third round and I got called a hater. -
If your man is hurt you have a duty to him to save him, simple as that.
I don't think it should be anymore the corner's job to recognize it than it has been. Kinda the doc's bag ya know? If the corner does see it and are worried about their man but don't pull him they're either greedy SOBs or just scared of pissing off their boy.
I got two brothers, one would love me for saving him and the other would rather die than be saved. I dunno what I'd do for the latter but I can respect those who are able to respect a man's choice to go out on their shield.
So, really, it's the doc and ref who should be saving people because the dynamic of the corner may have the corner just as resistant to ending a fight as the fighter themselves.
We absolutely know boxers need saved from themselves. It helps a ton to have someone the boxer can't really be vindictive against doing that saving. The first major killer in boxing was exhaustion, not bare knuckles, or canvasless platforms, the lack of weight divisions, or anything else one could easily assume. It was exhaustion. Dudes will kill themselves trying to get a win even in fights that don't actually matter to the bigger picture. That kind of man's corner can not be counted on to save that man.
I think docs need to watch themselves a bit more now, but also, I can tell you, I make prosthetics for a living and anyone in the medical field at all who appreciates boxing is not really accepted by the medical field. There's much more doctors lobbying to end boxing than there are guy willing to help boxing be safe. Which means, we kinda don't talk about it but the ringside Dr is probably a bit of a quack. He's definitely not all that respected in medicine because medicine does not respect combat sports at all.
Which is why you don't have Drago style science in boxing. Most have a moral objection.
So, from my POV, I reckon folks like Mister Arum and Mister Haymon need to sit down with their big bags of money and hire us some top of the line doctors to keep our boys safe.
Our refs are **** though. People talk alot of **** about ref but you ever tried to be a ref? Them dudes got what no one else will ever have. A ****load of experience in the ring. Most are historians and ****, as you know plenty of former boxers been refs. Just a ****load of experience. They are the best dudes to have saving folks.
Ref= Good
Corner= Good
Doctor= Bit CrapComment

I'd say yes look at Bradley Providnikov he won that fight with a swollen brain!
A fight can continue but it really depends on the fighter if they show no signs of defending themselves then stop it but if they are still actively engaged let them fight their hearts out.Comment

A concussion is a traumatic brain injury. It might be a mild traumatic brain injury, but it’s still a traumatic brain injury. Of course the fight should be stopped if someone is concussed.Comment
