AJ losing to Ruiz would have voided the deal, obviously.

But that doesn't alter the fact that Wilder turned it down when he was offered it.

Aj wouldn't have been scouting for a replacement after Whyte turned it down and jeopardize the wilder fight,he would have just went straight into it. Ruiz was the fourth guy they got to. Do posters really believe AJ would have gone seeking a fight other then Wilder and take a short notice fight in between ? People really don't think on here ,there would be no Ruiz fight if Wilder was on the contract to fight next.

It was two offers a 3 fight deal with dazn that had breazeale being wilder first fight and aj making his United States debut, and 4 fight offer which was the same as first but if wilder had lost could of had another fight on dazn after the two fights with Joshua that was for 120million you mentioned. Miller would of popped dirty regardless because aj still had to make his United States debut before the first wilder fight of deal...

How dare somebody put critique on Wilder for "refusing to fight AJ" if now its PROVEN he did the right move as he would NOT get a penny out of those supposed 100M deal??!

Dafq he would sign with DAZN for 3 fight deal which didn't guarantee him those 100 mil money but would loose PBC trusted partnership? Now we see that Wilder would be fked had he agreed on that DAZN deal so you better STFU as you have no weight to impose with your thoughts.

You're fibbing . The 3 fight deal included the two Wilder fights and Breazeale. The other one was a two fight Wilder one. Miller popping dirty would just lead to Wilder vs AJ. There would be no scouting for people ,what planet would team AJ do that on ? He would have started training for Wilder when miller popped dirty after. The Breazeale fight had already happened when Wilder ran away from the 120 million Dazn deal and has nothing to do with nothing bc that's after the fact .

Fury did tremendous damage to Wilder's aura of invincibility and brand. The rematch is more than important it's an imperative. "Turn b*tch" and all that talk is unnecessary nonsense, Fury went with Arums plan for the money...period. As for Fury's long term plan, Arum said the Fury rematch has been contractually agreed upon and signed.

Reality is PBC has Ruiz, Kownacki, and Efe Ajagba! Wilder does not really need Fury, but it would be a great event! That being said, I'm not sure Fury wants it! He did turn b*tch for the rematch, and I think I know where Fury is headed:

It looks as though heavyweight contender Jarrell Miller will land on his feet after testing positive for just a whole heap of drugs earlier this year, scuttling a career-high payday against Anthony Joshua in the process. The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger reports that “Big Baby” is “in advanced negotiations with Top Rank on a multi-fight deal.”

Perhaps it’s a reward for causing Joshua-Ruiz and the subsequent anguish to Matchroom.

The reason for this is straightforward, as Coppinger points out: Top Rank spent a lot to acquire Tyson Fury’s services and have nobody to pit him against besides “free agents” like Deontay Wilder. Plus, Fury had a doping suspension of his own, albeit for a far less comical quantity of substances, so it’s not like Miller (23-0-1. 20 KO) represents an ethical lapse or anything.
