He's a british comedian. When I was a little kid they showed re-runs of his shows on PBS right before Monty Python and I believe Dr.Who.



He's a domestic level boxer who has fought a lot of guys such as Luis Ortiz, Dillian White, Tony Yoka, David Price. He is kind of workingman's hero and is quite funny at times with his antics.
He's got some power and some will but not a ton of skill.

Very good analysis. I only caught up with the boxing version when he fought Price. Didn't know he was sort of a "character" and that might explain his Tweet. Sounded a bit like that old Elton John song (ok, Taupin lyrics) singing about suicide and making headline news and causing some teenage blues. (I think it was on the "Don't Shoot Me" album).

What boxer Dave might need is a few bracing snap-out-of-it insults from Jimmy Carr. He might also need to hear from Danny Baker on how being a "character" can sometimes get you into water too hot for even a tea bag.
