With catchweights and penalties, this isnt gonna be a real fight.

So far the only thing I read was that Kovi was for a catch weight
Which , imo , really takes everything away from this fight
I’m hoping it’s not the case but if it is this will be more of a cash out than anything else

    Was thinking the same thing
They are going up against a known name in mma and to the casual
Not sure if Canelo’s drawing power is as strong or not

this is a fight that most mexicans will buy, just like they did when canelo fought chavez jr , if anything there will be very little mexicans watching ufc that night ..

Ok. I saw Cobra's thread and couldn't believe DAZN would consider moving the fight off of 11/2/19 because of an MMA PPV.

That’s a huge mma fight Diaz vs Masvidal but fortunately for boxing very few mma fans are Mexicans most are former wwe fanboys or nascar fans.

If anything it will hurt mma more because it will take the few Hispanic fans that the ufc has for that night.

There better not be no catch weight. Kovalev is on his way out and just had a fight, plus he is already skin and bones at 175. Man up Clenelo.

            WAR KOVALEV!

Not sure how well that's gonna work out for DAZN considering that UFC PPV is gonna have a major mainstream media push.

But I also did read part of the November 2nd date for DAZN coincides with giving "potential" new subscribers a 1-2 punch having AJ vs Ruiz on the same "billing cycle" (as was written).

I don't think DAZN honestly has any choice at this point of the date but I'm VERY confident they would've rather had Canelo v GGG this coming Saturday instead.

100% agree. That is the best fight they have to offer.

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. This allows them to save the fight in case things get worse and they need a sales push.

There isn't any catch-weight or rehydration Clause!
Kathy Duva has been saying there won't be any catch weight or rehydration Clause!
You fool's always looking for an excuse to discredit Canelo but all he keeps doing is proving all the hater's wrong.
