I've never watched one second of Wallin...but to be better than King Kong he has to be pretty damn good imo...and I'm going to doubt.jpg that one

Ortiz is nearly 50 and is easy to hit with counter shots these days. Wallin is a huge athletic heavyweight in his prime who throws a better left and much better body shots and is a volume puncher. The choice is clear who is more effective at this stage, people are living in the past, Ortiz hasn't won a decent fight while looking good in 4 years.Comment

Wallin would be a top fighter for Wilder and beats 90% of those guys on his resume at least , I don't get the criticism for Fury facing him he's not 50 or has any fights to suggest he's a poor opponent. He's fighting a much better Fury and he will do better then Wilder did who would have won no rounds without the knockdowns.Comment

Quoted for truth.Europeans have basically dominated the heavyweight game for the last two decades, the standard is higher, so that means average guys like Wallin are better than your average bummy American heavyweights today

Wallin is probably better than any American HW outside of Wilder.

Wallin would have a good shot of beating a bum like Wilder tbf.Comment

People forget about the Szpilka fight and Wallin is 3x the southpaw fighter he is, and actually has a chin. Wallin at 6'6 could pose trouble for Wilder for sure, posters will see it after this fight ,Wilder couldn't win one round without a knockdown happening against Fury . I think Wallin will win a few rounds here against a far better Fury who is on point for this one. Anyone calling Wallin a cherry pick hasn't really looked at Wilders resume.Comment

I've always liked Ortiz so maybe I am partial to him...I guess we will see what Wallin has on SaturdayOrtiz is nearly 50 and is easy to hit with counter shots these days. The choice is clear who is more effective at this stage, people are living in the past, Ortiz hasn't won a decent fight while looking good in 4 years.Comment
