If he (Alvrez) came forward the whole fight, how do you account for the fact that Golovkin's back never touched the ropes?
In fact it was Alvarez whose back touched the ropes in the late rounds.

Its a fact that Canelo COULD be 0-4 in his fights with arguably his four toughest fights. GGG(twice) May, Lara. He ll he could have lost the trout fight and it would not be a robbery. For the record I thought he beat trout by one, lost to Lara by 2(no robbery though), and lost(1st fight) and draw(2nd fight)with GGG.

Right, so give me these facts about canelo and ggg. Out of the two who is considered the face of boxing? Who makes DAZN the most money? Who is younger? Who has the better resume? Who is more important to the future of DAZN and boxing overall? Who has more leverage to dictate who to fight next? You would lose because you said "EVERYONE" and in order for that to be true 0 posters would have to be for ggg vs Jacobs rematch, I know that wouldn't be the case. It has nothing to do with doing what GGG says. Canelo chose not to fight on a Mexican holiday after years of having to cede the date to Floyd Mayweather Jr because GGG and Kovalev were the two names DAZN was willing to accept. When a deal with Kovalev couldn't be made he chose to sit on his butt eating tainted tacos and hope Kovalev got through his fight unscathed rather than accept his networks demand for the trilogy.

He wanted to fight Kovalev instead of a guy he already fought twice and already beat.

But ultimately, who was under more pressure to land a big fight, GGG..or the guy who is essentially DAZN's anchor (Canelo)? Everyone knows GGG was brought in to make the 3rd fight w/ Canelo because it would be DAZN's biggest event by far. Did people think DAZN had plans for ANYONE ELSE? For whatever reasons be it Egos, Money, etc, it's not happening. But Canelo has never been a Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao Box Office attraction where people just flooded bars to see him fight whoever. Canelo's biggest outings came from Floyd, Cotto, and both GGG fights, fights that were in Demand. Fighting Sergey Kovalev with literally less than 2 months out an no official confirmation, promotion, etc and being on a still embryonic streaming app (in the States) now competing against a HUGE UFC card that will have a lot more Mainstream media surrounding it?

Just think of the hype surrounding a 3rd GGG fight if it went ahead for this Saturday as opposed to the lead up to this Kovalev fight that has yet to be officially announced , and apparently Canelo is also giving up money?

The GGG fight is still a fight much more in demand than a Kovalev fight and would've earned Canelo more guaranteed money. There seems to be more to the story though as it concerns Golden Boy's involvement but I can't help but think the promo for this Kovalev fight (with less than 2 months out) won't have anywhere near the build up a Trilogy fight w/ GGG would've had. Canelo seems to have DAZN by the balls a bit but likely at the expense of not many people seeing the fight or anywhere near as they would for a 3rd GGG fight (or it being on conventional PPV and not a Streaming App).

I don’t know if you’re from the US but right now times are different because of Trump, it seems to be anti Latino right now specifically Mexican so the media does no favors to a guy like canelo who just happens to be Mexican. Canelo is where he’s at because of his fans and willingness to face the best from the beginning.

For example you rarely hear squat about Fury’s ped test hear.

I personally don't believe that Canelo was cheating from what I put together about the circumstances, and Fury's situation well known years back but Fury has been bad mouthed by the media for so many of his issues and outbursts and the PED's, but if GGG had been busted instead of Canelo, the media would have ripped him a new hole, and people would still be talking about it in the media and all over these boards to this day. And one more thing, I have had less to critique Canelo for, since I dont feel he cheated and as to GGG because I do not like the fact that GGG ran out of the ring after the second fight.
