Oscar does realize he's not dealing with Tom Loeffler anymore, right? Pulling this "I'm da A side" sheit isn't going to work with Eddie Hearn. Eddie, like many other spoiled white rich kids, will "take his toys and go home" so to speak, if you don't play how he wants to play.Comment

It is clear that Oscar and Canelo are not on the same wavelength when it comes to a 3rd fight with GGG. It seems that it is in GB's best interest to push Canelo to another fight with GGG, but Canelo has other plans. Oscar's credibility is shot. He should just keep his mouth shut and focus on other aspects of his business. I think that Canelo will ditch him at first opportunity if he doesn't recede in the background when it comes to Canelo's career.Comment

Oscar better hope this Kovalev fight doesn't backfire on him. Won't be a good look if Kovalev pulls off a win and Canelo has to return to 160 with his tail between his legs.Comment

Yea everyone was picking Canelo to win so they could sneak in their bs GGG winning card. Its been a long game conspiracy.
Cuz its relevant to who people thought win.
And spare me fighter scorecards. Some of the worst most silly serious scorecards Ive seen have been boxer scorecards.
Cant upvote or downvote trainers cuz they dont seem to submit them THAT often, but they do seem much more on point then not.Comment

I can see De La Hoya’s point if Canelo had (2) lopsided decision wins or stoppages against GGG, but not (1) draw and (1) highly contested decision win. What’s more important is if the fans want to see a trilogy and if it will sell again because GGG’s has certainly warranted a 3rd fight based off his performance in the 1st two fights.Comment

Why would he have to 'earn his spot'? Makes no sense when you consider Canelo's last two opponents were both lower ranked than GGGComment

It’s never been about that, canelo was willing to fight since 55, ggg didn’t want to come down after all the 54-68 talk and had to wait till canelo moved up, yeah canelo took a different fight first with Chavez jr at 164.5 and then came back to 60 to fight ggg in his first ever fight at 60 while ggg had 300+ fights at 60. Outboxed his ass ggg cries talking about fight me so I can have a chance to be able to hit you so canelo outwhoops his ass in the second fight cries out the ring with his face looking like Michael Jackson’s thriller, and hides in a cave for 9 mths... the media says he is coming off a long lay off but canelo does that all the time from September to May and they never say it’s a lay off for him lol. Now people criticize the canelo va Kovalev fight if it’s a catch weight, but don’t say sh.it about the 164 catch weight that ggg did with rolls lmao, can’t make this up... we have one fighter going up divisions fighting a champion and another fighting a 80+ ranked fighter... I mean after all that, if y’all still defend ggg the he can damn near **** your girl in front of you and slap your mom and y’all still will hail ggg... you guys are sadComment

The funny thing is the consensus seems to be he shoulda lost the 2nd fight too.
Heres the media scores from the Boxrec page.
I had it 7-5 GGG. And the cat I met at the closed circuit event who knew boxing well (1st time I wasn't with a casual) looked shook & iirc he had it 8-4 GGG.
Im sure if you looked up most scorecards from that time there is a GGG lean in both fights with 51%+ of people who watched the fight.
Just off THAT controversy this fight has enough drama for a trilogy fight.
I really don’t give a *** how anyone scored the fight. All that matters Canelo won and these ***s that bet GGG should go and tell them their score card and go collect.
Man you in Vegas you know these bookies/Casinos ain’t give two sht about feelings and personal score cards....Comment
