Would Manny have gotten KO'd by the shot that rocked Floyd in Round 2?

When i saw the title of the thread i tought it was gonna be about the punch maidana landen on floyd at the ond of round three in the second fight

That shot would have ko ed almost anyone, very similar ot the marquez Ko

I mean it was about as good as the one he got hit with from JMM so yes...probably. Floyd has an excellent chin.. something ppl don't bring up about him but he does.

I’ll agree with you all day that Floyd has a good chin. I know he doesn’t get hit clean often. I was live at the Zab fight, and even that best shot Zab landed Floyd only seemed to become even more hyper aware. He is also deceptively strong. He doesn’t get bullied against the ropes and often does damage from there. There’s no way to really quantify how these supposed scenarios would pan out though. Manny lunged in wild and was countered by JMM. Floyd doesn’t put himself in that situation, but whose to say if u swapped him? But when Mosely did tag Floyd, Floyd was within his faculties to do everything right to get through it. I was impressed, and it’s not like he’s used to it. I think Manny has a very good chin. Still for all the hate Floyd gets it’s not like he ever got put on is butt from a punch. It would have happened if he was the fraud so many haters claim. Course they also thought manny would win.

Floyd himself says it was a good shot. I'm still not sure how he took that shot and still kept walking Shane down.



But, if Manny had eaten that shot, would he have (may)weathered it, or would he have been put to sleep if Mosley had landed it in their fight?

And just for the record. I would HATE fighting Shane Mosley. Too twitchy, too fast in the first half.
