Comments Thread For: Haye: Chisora Deserves A Title Shot If He Beats Parker

If Dereck Chisora can beat Joseph Parker next month, David Haye is confident Chisora will move himself into what was considered an improbable position earlier this year. That would win rebuild Chisora's credibility so significantly according to Haye, Chisora's manager that the heavyweight veteran would deserve a world title shot. Chisora is just eight months removed from Dillian Whyte knocking him unconscious in the 11th round of their rematch December 22 at O2 Arena in London.

Never say never of course, but I'd be amazed if Chisora won a world title at this stage.

Based on what? Getting KO'd cold by Whyte? I don't think so.

        Don’t be silly!

David Price 17th in line for a title shot
        Derek Chisora 18th in line
        Dave Allen 19th in line.

This is based on there being only 20 Heavyweights in the world

Man I really hope he beats Parker and more impressively than Joshua and Whyte beat him, that would be great. He beat Takam better than Joshua did and Szpilka better than Wilder did so why not? The man always comes to fight.

Imagine Chisora vs Joshua or Ruiz? Even better imagine him vs Wilder...I would never totally count Chisora out. He is a fan favorite for sure, win or lose.

But to be fair Derek faced a roided up dillian.his whole career Derek's been fighting roided up former champions so who knows how good Derek could have been if he didn't fight in this roid age.he probably would have been champ already

I guess so but that is an awfully big IF. Also, if Fury should beat Wilder, I have no need of seeing Chisora/Fury 3. The first 2 were not very competitive, the second was just a beat down.

Anyone who has lost to Whyte and miller deserves serious reappraisal. Miller had more sh** in his system than all 5 seasons of Breaking Bad. And Whyte is a 2 time PED chest. It’s laughable and the height of Matchroom jizz guzzling to say “wait till the facts come out”. Facts!?!? He was outed by one freelance journalist cuz the entire press core of Great Britain can’t do their jobs. Or didn’t want to out of fear Eddie would take their access away. Embarrassing. Take those 2 L’s away from Chisora. Both close fights. The cheating made that late KO. the clean fighter should not be punished.
