Shawn Porter has called on a middleweight champion to help him prepare for his upcoming showdown with Errol Spence Jr. Porter has enlisted Demetrius Andrade for what figure to be some spirited sparring sessions as he winds down training camp for his welterweight title unification fight September 28 versus Spence. Don't let this distract you from the fact that Porter thinks Andrade is the best fighter in boxing.

In all seriousness Porter is doing what he should, so I'm not impressed or moved. One thing you can't question about Porter is his work ethic.

But I just can't see him beating Spence. He can give him a tough fight but he can't win imo no matter who he brings in camp.

1 thing for sure is Porter has been getting some good sparing in on top of getting back on the weights. I expect him to at least come into the fight with Spence a lot more physically stronger than he has been in recent fights, just don't know If that'll be enough.

While Porter is on that side he should probably give Jaron Boots Ennis a call as well.
