I agree with most fans. I dont see this Kovalev fight as anything more than a wolf taking another sheeps belt or just a more risky Rocky Fielding type fight. I know I know Kovalev gots that jab & hes bigger & blah blah blah, but this Kovalev aint the same f#cking guy from a few years ago & the blueprint on how to take him out is known to all & those tools are right in Canelo's wheelhouse.

It's a ****** fight that makes no sense plus Kovalev is shot. If they wanted a spectacle, they should of done Canelo vs Pacquiao, that'll do big numbers.

If Kovalev is shot, what’s the point of him unifying with other LHWs? You Canelo haters make no sense at all.

What makes no sense is Canelo fighting a LHW when he has other champs in his own weight class to fight - Charlo, Andrade, hell even Murata.

Let's see, he went up to middleweight and beat the #1 ranked GGG and then unified against a top 3 middleweight in Jacobs. It doesn't take a genius to see why fights against Charlo or Murata are not attractive to him.

He's jumping to 175 to fight a top 3 champion! He will instantly become fighter of the decade if he wins this fight. Period.

Of all the champs at 175, why did Canelo pick Kovalev instead of Bivol, Gvozdyk or Beterbiev?

Kovalev is the biggest name at 175, by far. There's a reason why he was the other option DAZN approved for September apart from GGG. It's going to be a huge fight. For casuals fighting Bivol or Berbetiev is no different than fighting Fielding.

A campaign has been started by known Canelo haters trying to diminish Kovalev as a fighter to discredit a possible win by Canelo. Canelo lives in their heads rent-free, it's sad really.

Kovalev has no fan base and neither do the other champs at 175, just look at Kovalev's ppvs with Ward, they both bombed.

Kovalev is shot, old and has been KO'ed twice, there's nothing interesting about this fight.
