I don't know, it's just my personal impression. It looks as if AJ likes Ruiz as a person, he cares about him. He cannot be as hard as he used to be against others. Dunno why. Again, that's just my 2c.

Yes, I know it was a draw (officially) but the whole damn world saw it as a 60% Fury making Wilder look like a clown for 95% of the fight.

How can a World HW Champ knock someone down, so heavily, but then still lose the round!? That’s embarrassing.

Wilder has gained credibility from fighting Fury and now riding around on his Hugh horse talking about Joshua because AJ lost. Same old Wilder, piggy backing off of others.

I'm so tired of people defending Fury.. Even though he's a drug cheat! he got caught on Steroids and peds.. not just coke!! Everybody knows he was loaded to the gills with drugs when he faced Wilder. Flapping all around the ring. And AJ is another steriod, ped and tues user.. Notice the dramatic weight and muscle loss.. natural muscles dont melt away that fast.. And I'm naturally ripped... And 6'4" so i ***in know!!! AJ lost 50 lbs of muscle.. He not even in camp yet.. Lol. And before any U.K nerdy fan boy respond to me.. Where is Whytes B sample???! and Fury is best friends with Billy Nasal spray Saunders! Soo we know whats up!! Stop defending these cheats! Fury knows he lost.. That's why he ducked the Wilder rematch!

Ohhh, yeah I see what you mean. To be fair I've always thought Joshua needed a bit of needle with an opponent to actually want to go ahead and hurt them in a fight.

Joshua has been making a lot of odd comments over the past few days and looked out of sorts in the first fight. Ruiz hasn't really betrayed any major insecurities but historically guys in his position who come from nowhere to score a huge upset and topple such a massive player don't handle it well and usually end up handing the belt to the original holder or someone else in their next fight. Going from fringe contender to unified heavyweight kingpin overnight has got to be a huge shock to the system that's got to be tough to handle. The unusual venue should in theory take both guys even further out of their comfort zones too. We'll know for sure who's champion material after the fight - hopefully, anyway
I've been questioning Anthony's mental state since before the first fight. He didn't seem right to me even then, he had some interviews online where he seemed to kinda incoherently ramble and go on tangents which seemed unusual to me from him.

Imo it's one of 2 things thsy could cause this mental lapse; either he was having some kind of a mental breakdown because of all the pressure combined with his character that seemingly doesn't like the spotlight. Or it's brain trauma showing it's signs early with him and it showed in the fight since he just couldn't recover. Could be a combination of both too, a lot of these questions will be answered in the rematch and hopefully he makes it out of that ring safe without any permanent brain damage regardless of the outcome.

Wilder hit him with his best shots and still couldn't floor him for the count, and that was the version of Fury who had been horribly obese and retired for 3 years (aside from fighting a couple of bums).
Come the rematch Fury will be way better prepared.
Fury by unanimous decision, no robbery this time.

Lol, you might want to watch the fight again, or judging by your comment for a first time.

I can’t comment on mental weakness, but Joshua is making major changes heading into this fight. For someone who feels superior to change his body and regimen prior to avenging his first major loss shows that he feels there were major issues. We’ll see.

I like Wilder, he should be a lot bigger star than he is. Poorly promoted. Who in the PBC comes out and says anything. Haymon is invisible and then who. Eddie Hearns, Oscar, Arum, even Warren and Kathy talk their guys up to the moon. Look at Arum with Loma - great promotion. Look at Loeffler with GGG - great promotion. Hearn was right when he said that Wilder has to do all his own promotion. Shame.
