Kell Brook turned pro in 2004, and has fought at least twice every year, except in 2017, where he fought once against Spence.
Brook understandably took the rest of the year off after his first two pro losses, which happened 8 months apart and were stoppages due to broken eye sockets.
But then Brook fought twice in 2018 at 154, first he KO'd Sergey Rabchenko in 2 rounds, then he got a UD win over Michael Zerafa in December.
He didn't look great against Zerafa, but that could be attributed to the fact that he weighed in at 150 (well under the 154 limit) to prepare for a move back to 147 for a potential Khan fight that never happened. Zerafa has since come back with two stoppage wins in 2019, the most recent against Jeff Horn last weekend.
Brook wanted the winner of Khan-Crawford. But Khan chose to fight Billy Dib, while Crawford is likely to be fighting Kavaliauskas before the end of the year.
Will Brook announce his retirement soon? Will he fight Khan or Crawford at 147? Crawford or Munguia at 154?
