Comments Thread For: Joshua: It Was Not a Lucky Punch, It Was a Punch From The Gods

If there was a moment that Anthony Joshua discovered life as an ex-champion wasn't quite what it used to be, it might have been the moment when his barber refused to come round to his house to give him a haircut. Joshua said he wanted a trim when he was going away on holiday, but found out that not all people were as accommodating as they were before he lost his WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight titles.

Sounds about right. AJ is ****** and Ruiz is Christian.

There's no divine plan for your boxing career AJ. Ruiz threw those punches and dropped you 4 times in route to a stoppage. Now if he wants to worship Ruiz like some kind of false god then ok that's his prerogative, but a man threw those punches and whooped him

Aren't Buddhists pantheistic? That makes better sense. The god in Ruiz glove landed that shot on AJ chin

Precisely, it wasn't one punch from god that beat him, it was a better boxer with more heart.

Boxers use this type of s**t as a coping mechanism

It’s nothing new ... fighters have a different mentality to boxingscene posters
