Canelo Alvarez’s last fight was in May. He’s known he was going to fight Sergey Kovalev next since late July.

Kovalev’s last fight was August 24.

So of course the fight date is the first weekend in November. That means if Kovalev started preparing for Canelo today he barely has eight weeks.

Canelo will have been preparing for Kovalev for 12 weeks by the time the fight happens.

It is what it is at this point. Still no announcement. If Kov agrees to it, its on him. BUT, still shady af on Saul's part. He fought the best 168lber in December of last year, not sure why he cant fight Kova in December as well. And as long as there's no catchweight or rehydration clause then at least we have a "decent" fight.

canelo isnt demanding that date, dazn is, and they have a valid reason, but i dont expect you to know any of this, you dont even care..

Yeah I agree. Kov even admitted he didn't want to fight on that date but took it anyway because of the money. Bad look
