Anyone seen early odds on this?
Might have to go hard on this one if the odds reflect the fan split of feelings.Comment

If there are no weight restrictions or rehydration clauses it should be OK. If there are I'd be concerned for Kovalev from a safety standpoint. He's been stopped in one fight and hurt badly in his last fight. I guess it's up to the NSAC to determine if it's a safe fight. If there is a catchweight or rehydration clause they shouldn't sanction it IMO. Fighting soon after a hard fight in which he was only a few punches away from getting stopped at his age is tough enough. Ironically most of the ABC organizations got rid of the same day weigh in to allow fighters to rehydrate properly with no limit. Then they allow catchweight fights. LOL. It's completely ridiculous..Last edited by TonyGe; 09-07-2019, 08:41 PM.Comment

Well f#ck.
But all these cats big on Kovalev or think this is 50/50ish need to be bombing that line between now & Nov. 2 so I might be able to bet by fight week.Comment

Probably bad to put in on before Paul vs KSI II. Most of the non-boxing fans who order that fight will probably sign up the day of or a couple days before the fight therfore won't see the Canelo fight. If they showed the Paul vs KSI fight first they could heavily advertise the Canelo fight the next week & maybe get a nice chunk of fans watching Canelo & maybe the start digging boxing & keep DAZN longer or ideally for DAZN indefinitely.
Idk if there are reasons you couldnt flip those dates around previously or putting Paul vs KSI sooner, but if I was DAZN thats what I woulda did & I think thats a better way to align sh^t.Comment
