If anyone is lineal, it is Fury

If it's not Fury, then it is nobody until we have a dominant champion again, or even better, an undisputed champion

He didn't beat Floyd for that title so the lineage would then need to be re-established because Floyd retired.

See where I'm going with this? Yeah, you do. Bye

That's right because AJ wasn't lineal and Ruiz Jr. was barely hovering in the top ten. The TS is an idiot

Lineal is not a complicated concept, I don't get how people can be so confused about it. TS can't even spell lineal right

Wonder why he switched up after months of saying Fury is the Lineal Champ?

There was NOT a consensus around AJ, Max is full of sheit

Tyson Fury destroyed any type of credibility the shi..tty lineal title has. And why are Americans giving their fellow Americans the title over a flukey victory? These yanks are insufferable and they love hearing the sound of their own vices.

Fu...cking clowns! When AJ beats Ruiz in Dec, I hope Max keeps the same energy after that.

Fury is still lineal, but the consensus argument is legit. If you feel more people saw Joshua as lineal then Joshua is lineal. It is literally a consensus title. That said, that's a hard thing to sell since Fury single handedly made casuals aware of the term. Most people went from not having a clue or a care about lineal to having some level of understanding and familiarity because of Mister Tyson Fury.

The retirement and stripped due to drugs arguments are weak. Tyson Fury would not be the first man to come out of retirement and reclaim his title. That's why no one considers Peter Maher or Tom Sharkey champions. Corbett retired, Corbett came back, the guys who were champion while he was gone were then considered illegitimate. Corbett hadn't lost in the ring. Now that sanctioning bodies exist people seem to want to add sanction body bull**** to lineal and even site sanction body belt shifts as lineal functions, but, before they existed all you needed to know was the champion did not lose so he's still champion. No one gave a **** that meant two guys who won and received the title would be stripped of it. I don't see why anyone would give a **** that Fury's reclaiming it.

For some reason folks want to act like **** like unification makes you lineal, my ass. Lineage matters most in lineal, that's why it is called lineal rather than traditional. Even if you reckon Josh was "the man" while fury was gone you have to concede he can not be "the man" with Fury now back on the scene because to be the man you have to beat the man and Josh never even tried.

Until Tyson Fury loses or quits for good he is lineal, and yes, Lennox is the only single man alive who can strip him of that.
