Canelo just ducked four middleweights and his fans don’t care

I’ve never seen anything like this kind of ******ity before. Congratulations Canelo fans, you’re the dumbest fans ever.

Charlo, Andrade, GGG and SD were all available to fight Canelo in September.

Canelo isn’t fighting anyone in September because he doesn’t want to fight any of those guys. He tried to fight Munguia but DAZN said no, so props to him for trying to stay active I guess.

Canelo even dropped the IBF title instead of signing to fight SD. The WBC would have stripped anyone else for ducking their mandatory but instead gave Canelo a commemorative belt. They handed their title to Charlo because they knew that fight would never happen.

Meanwhile Canelo fans ignore all of this and ridicule GGG for who he’s fighting.

GGG is fighting a guy in SD who Canelo fans have claimed GGG ducked forever... for a title Canelo vacated to duck SD.

While this fight is signed to happen, Canelo fans continue to ridicule GGG for ducking SD the first time. They ignore the fact that Canelo just vacated the same IBF belt GGG vacated when he didn’t fight SD originally... to not fight SD. Also, Canelo has never fought SD and doesn’t plan too. GGG is signed to fight SD right now!

Canelo fans also ridicule GGG for trying to fight Munguia instead of SD a couple year ago, something Canelo Alvarez just tried to do weeks ago.

These Canelo fans then ask why GGG won’t fight Charlo and Andrade, two guys Canelo won’t fight and has no plans to fight! They ignore the fact that two fights ago, GGG fought Canelo a second time for a unified title. He’s now fighting for the IBF title Canelo vacated to fight no one. Was he supposed to fight Charlo and Andrade at the same time instead? And if that’s the expectation for him, why isn’t Canelo expected to fight SD to retain his belt in September or fight Andrade to unify or fight Charlo?

How can he duck GGG when he has already beaten him twice? As for Charlo, Canelo will beat him in his sleep and that’s an irrelevant fight at this point. Fighting Charlo would amount to doing him favours and giving him free money/publicity he doesn’t deserve. PBC boxers don’t deserve that type of love.

The only person you can make an excuse for is Andrade and yes, Canelo is ducking him. Andrade is an awkward/skilled boxer that will make Canelo look bad like Lara did.

Canelo still has the better resume however, especially if he beats Kovalev, which would automatically put him in ATG discussions.

WBC is the sketchiest of the sanctioning bodies. They allowed Floyd to do as he wished, and now that privilege has been extended to Canelo. To his credit, he did fight and defeat Danny Jacobs in May, and if he does go on to fight Kovalev at the full LHW limit, I won't hold that against him. It's a riskier fight than Charlo, D-chenko and Andrade.

Agree with the first part of your comment but maybe Lara would have made canelo look bad in an amateur bout but that was a pro fight. The only one who looked bad was Lara.
