New York - Gennadiy "GGG" Golovkin (39-1-1, 35 KO'S) and Canelo Alvarez will forever be linked for their two controversial fights. Canelo (52-1-2, 35 KO's) then turned his eyes to his IBF Middleweight title mandatory defense against Sergey Derevyanchenko (13-1,10 KO's). That fight fell apart as well, and Canelo was stripped of the title.
