    Sergio Mora.

After watching the first episode of The Contender the other night and seeing Sergio Mora for the first time in a couple of months since the night Manfredo was robbed of clear victory, I got to thinking. I seen in The RING magazine which is behind schedule here in the UK (like, we get a magazine dated "September" in July but it talks about news from March etc). Well I see Sergio Mora beat some punk up, and then there's talk (maybe just rumours) of him fighting for a version of the world title. Well I was thinking, if Sergio does get a shot at a meaningful world title and not just something like NBA, IBA etc, or even if he fights the RING champion at middleweight, what will that mean for the Contender series? The genuine credibility etc in you peoples opinions.

well if he does do that i think that alot of people will change there views on the show. i mean for sure some of the fighters on tehre arent pro material, but theres those few couple that make it to the end. if sergio does do that it will be a big step up for the show.

Mora had better find a fighter who is a boxer rather then a strong brawler. I dont see him handling a strong gritty fighter very well. Kind of like Malign-cotto. Mora just doesnt have the power or strength in my opinion. Yes hes a good boxer but when it comes down to a war, I just dont see him standing with the worlds elite.

mora's a punk and a limited fighter. he wont get far. but in this weak MW division, he might get farther than i want him to.

He needs to give Ishe Smith a rematch.

But I think any top 10 middle could beat him right now.

I like Sergio Mora, but........a shot at the title ? no. he needs to earn a shot the title, first.

he is gonna get KTFO by Taylor, if the fight take place.

If it wasnt for The CONTENDER Mora would not even be known. He's not even top 10 material IMO, hell he's not even top 15. He seems like an ok guy but he's not strong enough to compete at 160. He's not gonna hurt anyone in that weight class. If he fights Taylor , he will be broken in half.

The first contender had real prospects (Mora, Manfredo, Smith etc.)...

This contender has no young fighters that make me want to **** my wife...they are all journeyman and c/b level brawlers-which is gonna make for some good tv but in terms of getting a REAL contender fans can get excited about...soryy aint happening.

Back to Mora...I love it he beats shark attack and now he is gonna fight Taylor...prmoters better look at that jump in class a bit closer otherwise Mora who is super marketable now may lose a lot of his luster.
