And this is such a bummer as I was really looking forward to this fight.

    Quick, make Williams/Castano next!!
Make Carlo vs Williams even better.

I like Hurd. It doesn't look good but that's HIS choice.

Two losses, back to back would ruin him.

I'm sure him and his team have a good reason.

Hurd is a good guy. Despite his granite chin, he's not trying to prove he's tough, just trying to win. I think he's getting tired of boxing. He seems like he's really aware of the CTE angle and his style doesn't last long. I have a feeling he may retire after one or two fights. Unless he just fights easy foes from now on, content to get a stable paycheck. Like Gary Russell.

Just, when I thought things were going fall into place @ JM, they robbed Charlo, then Harrison can't fight the rematch bad ankle and now Hurd don't want the rematch with Williams. So Make Charlo vs Williams. Im guessing this will void the rematch clause so there wont be a rematch will there. Not the worst move for Hurd at this point. There are other's @ 154 or make the jump.

Some of you don’t see how good Jermall really is.

There is a reason Canelo and GGG ran from Charlo
Then does that make old Korobov an ATG? Prime Korobov Mt Rushmore? Andy Lee who stopped prime Korobov the greatest of all time?

Triangle theory only works sometimes now. With all the weight bullying going on today, you cant just look at styles, you have to look at size. You cant take for granted anymore that just because both guys fight in the same division, they are the same size, or it's a fair fight. We've been over this same confusion many times on this forum with the Mikey-Salido-Loma triangle. Mikey was a 135 if not 140 pounder even back then fighting at 126, Loma was a small 126 pounder. With that context, it explains why Mikey did much better even though Loma is a better boxer P4P than Mikey. Without the context, it creates the illusion that Mikey is better than Loma, just like it's probably an illusion to think that Charlo is better than JRoc, even though he beat him, or that it makes Charlo a great fighter. Korobov was more his size, plus styles, and we saw what happened.

Just my opinion, but how do you think he was rehydrating 25 pounds overnight at the 154 division? And making that weight in the first place? Seems highly unlikely he could do that without help. Maybe VADA makes it harder to use that help. Idk. I dont trust VADA though. VADA was involved with Canelo all year, didnt catch him, even though Canelo looked the same. That's a major red flag.

Regardless of Canelo, there are a handful of fighters who clearly appear to be on PEDs, who do VADA sometimes, and never get caught. Therefore VADA seems useless.

Not really a good look after Williams' testing demands.

I'd like to see Lara step in.

It does make you wonder of they test all the fighters equally.

Agree about hurd think the mystery of how a guy his size got down to 154 may be solved now .
