Spence vs Canelo would be fun

Canelo gets alotta flack on thia forum but Canelo is incredible.

Power in both hands, speed, combos, ring iq, great defense and ability to roll with punches, and a granite chin to top it off.

I would be a good fight but Canelo stops Spence inside of 10

With Errol still at 147 & I suspect not entering 160 til 2021 at the absolute earliest & Canelo taking shots at 168 & maybe 175 soon idk that their paths are gonna cross at the right time.

Now Errol still gots sh^t to prove at 147, 2 divisions under Canelo, so Errol gots 3-5 names to fight before Canelo even makes sense too. Him moving up to fight him post-Porter would be seen by most people as a dummy move cuz hes cashing out before hes been fully cashed in. Kinda like Mikey moving up to fight Errol although it made more sense for Mikey cuz Errol is less proven + Mikey did have high level success at 140. If Errol had a W over Harrison or some sh^t at 154 then Canelo seems more reasonable.

And to really know what could happen in this fight I need to see Errol fight at 154 at least to get a better idea what he can do when hes closer to his best weight.

The older the boxer gets still draining affects the body exponentially versus the very young guns doing it. Spence is trying to make the most money at 147. Spence should’ve been at 154 by now. He and Lara are about the same. This year Spence looking really bloated outside camps

A decent fight that I would expect Canelo to win by late stoppage but it wont happen. They'll probably miss each other, especially if Canelo fights Kovalev. There will be more than 20 pounds separating them at that point and that's too much.

what's with the trend of expecting fighters to face opponents multiple weight classes above them? this "dare to be great" nonsense goes a bit far sometimes. let fighters at least get in the same neighborhood of the guy you wanna see him face before calling for the fight.

Spence is at 147 and Canelo is talking about fighting at 175...how does that even make sense?

Or better to be GGG and stay at 160 for a decade?

It'd be fun seeing Spence get smacked around until he gets stopped in the 7th?

If jacobs had a rehydration clause for a fight at 160 u really think He gonna fight Kov at the full 175? More like 170-172 with a rehydration clause and Kov will eat it up to cash out

I'd agree, except oh yeah, Spence has already introduced the topic himself.
