I agree that Corrales has similar attributes in some departments to Hatton but I'm certain he doesn't have Hattons chin and Hatton is naturally bigger than Corrales.
Like was said earlier it would be a tough ask for Hatton but I think he stands a chance!

I think Duran's like JLC has very underrated boxing skills. Duran was an excellent boxer and when he applied pressure he did it very intellegently.
I'm sorry don't think i'm ****** but who is RLL. and with JLC are you reffering to Castillo, or did you mean JCC as in the great Chavez

I was referring to Jose Luis Castillo when I said I though his boxing skills were underated like Duran's however I wasn't putting JLC as a nominee for best style.

I also think Duran was much more well rounded than The Great Chavez stylisticly, what won Chavez fights was his heart relentlessness, chin and power.

RLL was suppose to be SRL but it seems I messed up.

oh ok, thanks for the explaination. I wish more people here could respond like that instead of name calling where there is a misunderstanding. Sugar ray is a good nominee, but it brought up another fighter i forgot about who was better than everyone i mentioned so far , and thats Hagler

Hatton's style can be exploited by a taller fighter. Put Margarito in there and you'll see. I also think Cotto could present Hatton with a lot of problems from his rather good defense and counter punching style. However, if Cotto trades, Hatton could turn the fight.

To avoid flames: I do like Hatton. Just being objective here. Don't want 2tough giving me bad karma for dissing his UK fighters.

I suppose Calzaghe's 'style' wouldn't work without his physical attribute of speed, so I suppose I was wrong in putting forth big Joe.

Mayweather and probably Wright. Nobody has shown any way to be effective against Mayweather for 12 rounds and Wright has only had trouble with hard, accurate punchers like Taylor.

Simon wasn't a particularly hard, accurate puncher. From what I remember of him - good workrate, good timing, decent speed.. Simon.
