He makes weight just fine, whats the issue with him fighting at 147? I think hed do good at 154
Will Spence be a champion in three or more weight classes?

He would end like Khan and brook at 160, probably. Guy, that can make 147, is not a middleweight. I think GGG and Canelo would both stop him.Comment

Spence will outclass JRock and the rest are unproven tbh.Comment

If he can move to 154 and look impressive, I wouldn't mind seeing him at 160 vs. GGG or Canelo.
I have to guess at 147, if he doesn't fight Crawford, I can't see anyone else challenging him. I don't think Pac will take that fight, and D. Garcia and Thurman don't seem to want any part of him. In order to remain in the P4P discussion he would need to move up at some point as 147 becomes less of an option.Comment

160 is a different ballgame. He gets hurt there. He wouldnt win a belt there unless one became vacant.
154 is VERY doable for him though. A few guys there I’m not sure he beats but def is in it against them all. Munguia is huge but Spence isnt a small man and I’d pick him over him.Comment

Truely ruling one weight class is more impressive than moving up in weight to try to beat the weakest possible champion like Canelo does. I'd pick Spence to beat anyone at 147 including Crawford. Spence has never failed to comfortably make 147 and he is 29 years old and all done growing. He can stay at 147 or probably beat anyone at 154. He is much too small for middleweight and should stay out of that weight class. Middleweight has some bad MFers like Jermall, GGG and Canelo and he can't beat those guys in my opinion. Fighting much over your best fighting weight is foolish and has hurt lots of boxers like Mikey, Donaire, Rigo, Brook and Gonzalez and many others. Chase greatness but chase it with boxers your own size.Comment
