135 is officially the best division in boxing

Certainly one of the best.- Lomachenko
- Sir Luke Campbell
- Commey
- Haney
- Lopez
- Tank
I hope they all fight one another but I doubt it due to politics. However, this division has potentials to create ATGs like the Duran, Leonard, Hagler and Hearns era.
In a fantasy matchup - who's going to be the last man standing?
I think I'd take Campbell over Haney and Lopez, right now. Loma is still top dawg, but I can see Tank catching him in 2-3 years. Also might have Berchelt joining that bunch...Comment

This is said about every division full of untested fighters. The best divisions right now is like welterweight, heavyweight, 154-160, 168-175. Fans don’t like losses, but losses makes a fighter tested. Many fans talk trash about that “0” being meaningless then turn around and hype up fighters because of it. LW has potential only if those couple of guys with 0’s are any good. And Campbell isn’t that good, he also lost to Linares...another guy who isn’t that good.Comment

I too love heavyweight boxing, always have and always will, but they don't have to deal with making weight to the extent that everyone else does.
I'm a HW fan.
Longer history, more power, rougher contest.
HWs require more energy and need more time to recoup their energy losses. Boxing only has one set of rules though. Little guys are given the same amount of time as big'un to recoup. That's a bit bull**** to the HWs. You can't expect them to perform at the same level if you don't allow them to get back an equal proportion of energy. It also makes it much much more impressive when they do.
Tyson Fury at round 12 is more impressive than Loma at 12. Yeah, I agree, Loma does move much better, but he's tiny. He's the size of a twelve year old. They move real well for hours too....it just isn't impressive to me. It's cute.Comment

I have a hard time getting into the heavyweights. To me there is 1 truly talented guy, but he is painful to watch (fury). The rest Wilder, Joshua and Ruiz are more fun to watch, but they are more like David Lemieux talent wise. The 90's heavyweights were so much better it is laughable.Comment

I don't think any other division has the same level talent at least 6 boxers that can make it competitive amongst themselves.
I see Loma losing to one or two in that division, if he doesn't end up ducking them.
Haney/Tank vs Loma should be interesting. Both Haney/Tank can punch harder than Campbell and they can also box. I can't speak on Haney - I know Tank has that dog in him.
Whoever rules the division should automatically become the next boxing superstar.Comment

Light heavy is pretty good as well, but I don't think they're as good as the others. I'd put 135 over light heavy at least for the time being with Loma, Davis, Gamboa, Commey, Lopez, Haney, Campbell.Comment
